If your house is on the Run Through the Roses course, you may be bestowed a special honor. As May 1st marks the City’s first annual 10K road race, the Madison Beautification and Tree Board will name a Yard of the Roses winner. Only lucky yard will be selected and a sign stating ‘Yard of the Roses Winner’  will be placed in the winner’s yard for all runners to see.  In addition, the winner will receive a Knockout Rose donated by the Madison Beautification and Tree Board. The winner will be notified on Thursday, April 29th.
